For nearly a decade, we have been providing specialist home care in Bedford. This allows people to live fulfilling lives their own homes. We can also help individuals to access a their local community by ensuring that the care is available to keep them safe.
The support we offer may include preparing meals, personal care, medication management, therapeutic engagement, befriending and accompanying someone to a social event, or job interview. Our care support network is able to offer a range of tailored care for older people. In many cases all is required is light-touch help in the home. This might include shopping, sitting with them, or providing reminders to take medication or maintain a fluid intake.
A Dementia Care service is available which provides tailored support from early onset, through to more severe symptoms. It is possible for people to live with dementia in their own home, with the right support. We work closely with families to plan for each stage of care, and find the best solutions for their loved ones.
If a person needs round-the-clock home care services, we will ensure that they receive the appropriate support for their needs. In such cases, we’ll carry out a detailed assessment, including a risk assessment, before putting in place a care plan.
If an individual decides that they would like to die at home, we believe that they should have the support to do so. We can offer 24 hour palliative care to people, ensuring that they are kept as comfortable as possible, and are given compassionate support right up until the end of their lives.
