Bedfordshire Supported Housing has two shared supported properties in Milton Keynes. They each provide an opportunity for people with long-standing mental health problems to live safely and semi-independently in a stable environment. Residents are encouraged to define their own goals and are supported in the acquisition of skills to achieve them.

Our shared supported accommodation in Milton Keynes is available for adults requiring a medium or high level of community-based care. It’s also ideal for people needing a step-down from 24-hour residential care. BSH staff deliver care to residents according to their personalised care package. Our aim is to help residents acquire the skills they to develop their independence within the community.
Each property has Night Wardens who take responsibility for maintaining the safety of the property and the residents. There is also a 24 hour on-call service available for residents from a free phone number in each property.

Most of our referrals come via secondary mental health teams, learning disability services and local CMHTs. We also have a simple referral form for use by service users and carers.
