Bedfordshire Supported Housing is an established provider of supported living services in Bedford. We currently have 4 properties in the town. Our residents typically have a community care plan in place and require medium community-based support. The BSH team is made up of professional care staff who provide person-centred care services for residents experiencing serious and enduring mental health problems.

Supported living is an excellent solution for someone leaving residential care and needing support as they return to independent living. Our accommodation is comfortable, well-maintained and provides a supportive environment in the heart of the Bedford community. A night warden is responsible for the safety of residents and there’s also a free 24-hour on-call service.
Trained BHS staff deliver a range of care services to residents. These are bespoke and are based on individual needs. The number of hours allocated will vary with each resident, according to the specifications of their care package.

BSH referrals usually come from learning disability services, secondary mental health teams, and local CMHTs. We also have a simple referral form for use by service users and carers.
